Ways to Bless Our Brothers and Sisters

Some ideas from Sarah...

Take a 1/2 hour and play a game with them!

Act interested in their lives - even their dreams! (Have you noticed how little children especially love to relate their looonnngg dreams? :-) They will watch and see if you are listening to them! Show them you care!)

Go on a picnic - even if it's just in your backyard! Most children love picnics!

Make cookies with them. Yes, the mess may be bigger, but the time spent together is more important than flour everywhere.

Leave notes on their pillow. Tell them how much you love them!

As they walk by, stop them, and tell them how much you appreciate them and that you are glad to be their sister.

Encourage them in their walk with the Lord. Are they having a daily time with the Lord, reading His Word and praying? If not, why not become accountability partners and spur each other on in your love for the Lord?

Talk to them before bed! Sometimes I'll go into my little sisters' room and tell them "good night" and talk. One night, we got the giggles because I kept trying to leave and they were begging me to stay! :-)
